Siskins Hold Year End Banquet – Honor Graduates and Award Winners

Graduating player, Nolan Chartrand, gifted with his framed jersey surrounded by (L-R) Team President, Anthony Stewart, 24-25 VP, Errol McDonald and 24-25 Director of Hockey Ops, Mike Camilleri.

On April 10, the Siskins organization came together to close out it’s 2024-25 season at the Alpine Club of Kitchener, a proud sponsor for many years. Great food was provided by Conestoga Catering, as our players, staff, and volunteers all had a night to honor the season that was – including our graduating players and year end award winners.

A special thanks goes out to Game Day Director, Allie Wells, Director of Business Operations, Tanja Korac, for making the night go as smooth as possible, and to Director of Hockey Operations, Mike Camilleri and General Manager, Brian Huddle, for agreeing to MC the night that was.

The 2024-25 season saw the Siskins make the playoffs on the final day of the regular season, and battle the Western Conference’s first place St. Mary’s Lincolns in five games before bowing out in a hard fought effort, including a thrilling OT win at home in Game 4 of the series.

Highlights of the year include the aforementioned OT game winner, celebrating 90 years of Siskin hockey on January 26th, team President Anthony Stewart scoring some goals in our Alumni Game, and countless more.

Thank you to our fans, volunteers and all of #SiskyBuzz Nation, we look forward to the coming 2025-26 season and another chance at a Sutherland Cup victory.
