Joe Thornton Championship History
The Joe Thornton Western Conference Championship Trophy was established during the 2024-25 GOHL Season, honoring former St. Thomas Star and NHL legend, Joe Thornton.
The Waterloo Siskins were placed into the Western Conference for the inaugural season in 2024-25 and also 2025-26 before being moved into the Eastern Conference for 2026-27.
